Kate Koogler Canine Cancer Fund

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to thank you for your interest in our cause. I just mailed (12/09) our donation of $8500.00 to University of Minnesota to help support their comparative osteosarcoma research project and $8500.00 to Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University to help support several of their ongoing bone cancer research projects.  Thanks to everyone for your support to help with these very important studies. As you may know, information from studies such as these not only help our canine friends but are directly applied to human medicine as well.

And a reminder that we are planning to skip The Kate Ride in 2010 and try for June 2011. We are thinking that a spring event may be a better time for folks. While we won't be planning a ride this coming year we will be working on other fund raising ideas to help add to our support of bone cancer research. Any thoughts or ideas would be most greatly appreciated.
